Since 1993, Pachyderme has been seeking out talented designers and original products around the world.
Our ever growing collection offers a comprehensive array of lifestyle themes : lighting, furniture, vases, mirrors, table art, and carpets, to name a few. The products are designed by a host of international artists and, for the most part, handmade according to fair-trade principles.
Established from the outset as an exclusive distributeur of lighting and decorative accessories, Pachyderme currently supplies more than 300 shops worldwide.
In 1993 we opened our first retail shop in the ‘passage du Grand Cerf’ in Paris : a beautiful 19th Century shopping arcade which, today, houses fashion, jewellery, design and beauty shops.
March 2005 witnessed the launch of our second outlet in the lighting sector of Lafayette Maison. A prime international showcase for our brand and our products for almost 2 years.
In September 2006, came the turn of our third and most recent boutique, only a stone’s throw from the prestigious ‘place des Victoires’ in Paris. 120 m2 on two levels, devoted to interiors and catering to both contemporary and traditional tatses, thanks to a mixture of modern one-off pieces, selected vintage finds, and our standard distribution range.
Our latest space was opened in Paris 9th in May 2011 to showcase our new collection of crystal chandeliers.
In addition to its wholesale and retail activity, Pachyderme frequently teams up with architects and decoraters, to work on bespoke pieces, both in large and small quantities. From decorating a small bedroom to customising crockery for a restaurant and designing a television set, Pachyderme offers personalised decorative solutions for projects of all types and sizes.
This site gives you only a glimpse of our universe. We are constantly adding new products, so please do pay us another visit on our website soon, or drop by our shop where it will be our pleasure to show you more.
